NRLF Request |
|
The Northern Regional Library Facility (NRLF) is the University's remote storage facility located in Richmond, CA. It houses less-used library materials from the four northern UC campuses (Berkeley, Davis, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz). NRLF Request allows eligible UCB faculty, students, staff, and library cardholders to submit on-line requests to borrow materials located at NRLF or to receive electronic or paper copies of book chapters or journal articles. If you make a request to borrow an item or to receive a photocopy, you'll be able to select a UCB library location to which your requested item/copy will be sent (within approximately two working days - usually sooner when delivered to the Main Stacks). If you request an electronic copy, it will be posted to the Web (within two working days) and NRLF will notify you of its URL via e-mail. Most materials at NRLF may be requested in this manner (except for special collections and some titles with limited access). You may also use this service to request material for onsite use or pickup at NRLF. To use NRLF Request follow these easy steps:
The system will send you an e-mail confirmation copy of your request. There is a limit of thirty-five pages or less per article or chapter and no more than five articles per day. NRLF provides photocopies and electronic copies in strict compliance with the copyright laws. |
